charcoal mirror with quartz house
This piece began as a mirror I found in Nampa, ID. I knew I wanted to replace the glass with a charcoal slab, but I didn’t know what came next. Luckily, I had this sparkly quartz house with a green inclusion that echos the tarnish on the frame.
Roughly 11” x 6” x 1 ½”
NOTE: This piece may include material(s) that I found out in nature. It has not been treated. It will change over time. It may decay. It may host insects. That’s just how it is.
